Would you like to learn a musical instrument…and make new friends?
Well, Catholic Club members now have a perfect way to do just that, with Campbelltown-Camden District Band now being one of our sub-clubs.
The Band has a fantastic training program, and is launching its new training bands for 2022 on Monday, 7 February.
‘Come and learn an instrument in a fun and family friendly way,’ said Grant Millard from the Band. ‘Open to ages 8 and up, adults are very welcome to learn. Why not learn an instrument alongside your child or grandchild?’
School bands are great but with the Campbelltown-Camden District Band children can take their playing to the next level. Literally – there are 4 levels of Training Bands to cater for any child’s ability
‘Not sure what instrument to learn, let us guide you,’ Grant said.
‘We also understand the cost of a musical instrument can be expensive, so we have instruments available to hire from only $52 per year (that’s $1 per week).’
The Band has vacancies in all its bands.
‘Whether it is in the Training Band program, Marching Band, Wind Ensemble or the Daytones (great for retired or day-limited musicians), we have a band for you. Our bands are a fun and family friendly environment to play great music.’
