Youth Solutions and Campbelltown Catholic Club launch 2018 – 2019 campaign, ‘What about tomorrow? Celebrate Safe to help keep young people safe.

Youth Solutions and Campbelltown Catholic Club celebrate their 10 year-long partnership by launching their 2018 – 2019 campaign, What about tomorrow? Celebrate Safe. The campaign launch will be held at the Campbelltown Catholic Club on 16 November from 10.30am to 12.30pm.

The What about tomorrow? Celebrate Safe. campaign targets young adults aged 18 – 25 years and encourages them to take positive steps to keep themselves and their mates safe around alcohol.

CEO of Youth Solutions, Geraldine Dean is grateful for the support that Campbelltown Catholic Club has provided the Service over the past 10 years.

“We are thrilled to be partnering with the Campbelltown Catholic Club again this year to roll out the What about tomorrow? Celebrate Safe. campaign” she said.

“The campaign will run over November 2018 – February 2019, a time when young people and the broader community will be celebrating Christmas and the new year.”

“We hope that by engaging with young people in the community and promoting safe celebrating we can encourage young people to look after themselves and their peers, and to prevent alcohol related harm”.

Youth Solutions Research and Design Coordinator, Emily Deans, is excited to be co leading the campaign.

“We have been consulting our Youth Advisory Group a lot over the past few months and it’s been great to see the campaign develop with their guidance and input” she said.

“The campaign encourages young people to plan ahead, to know their limits and to look after their friends.”

In line with the campaign, Campbelltown Catholic Club will provide free soft drink to all sober designated drivers on Friday and Saturday nights in December and January.

What about tomorrow? Celebrate Safe. is also supported by media partners C91.3FM and the Campbelltown-MacarthurCamden-Narellanand Wollondilly Advertisers.
